Lots of Chelsea complained when Man Utd called them this too .... and bizarrely a number of those complaining are female fans.

Perhaps we do need to take the view that times have changed and we used to sing this when the crowd was largely male. As such, we could be seen to acting in a discriminatory fashion ... so next time as well calling out the male prostitutes we should not forget the female ones - Rent Boys AND whores ... There you go

Did a quick search they was moaning about this 5 years ago when Manchester United beat them. I would think it is the Chelsea loving press that wheels this out to take the gloss off any loss.

It was an adaptation of the Chelsea Aggro chant after one of the Chelsea HOOLIGANS was found in bed with a rent boy. 1980’s I believe.
Some time after Clive Walker was arrested for showing his KNOB to an underage girl doing her paper round.
